Suluban Beach Cave & Restaurant In Uluwatu, South Bali
Suluban Beach Cave is a hidden spot on the southwest coast of Bali, near the Uluwatu area.
This place is great for surfers and beach lovers alike, and it even has a scenic clifftop restaurant to boot! It’s an easy one to add to your Uluwatu beach hopping itinerary. This travel guide will explain how to get there, and everything you need to know before you go!
Where To Stay
Suluban Beach Bali
Suluban beach cave sits at the bottom of some rocky cliffs on the bukit peninsula of south Bali.
It’s a pretty small beach and may not be as photogenic as some others in Bali, but the cool cave setting is what makes it unique.
My favorite part was the clifftop restaurant you can access from the stairway on the beach. This little warung on top of the cliffs has amazing views of the coastline.
We pulled up a chair here and enjoyed some drinks with the epic scenery, and even got visited by a monitor lizard sneaking around on the cliffs!
- Entry: Free
- Parking: 2k IDR (motorbike)
How To Get To Suluban Beach
Suluban Beach is located in the Uluwatu area of south Bali.
It’s a 45 minute drive south from the Kuta area, depending on traffic.
Once you get there, it’s a short, easy walk down to the beach.
Bali Private Driver & Motorbike Rental
If you want to explore Bali in the comfort and safety of a private car with a driver, my top recommendation would be Klook.
Their price is 450k IDR ($30 USD) for a full day of driving and sightseeing in Bali (up to 10 hours) for 1-5 passengers. That's the total price for the whole car + driver + petrol! It's a steal.
If you'd rather travel by motorbike, they have that too. Their scooter rentals start at 85k IDR (~$6) and include a helmet, rain coat, and pickup in the south Bali area.
We've used Klook for lots of tours and activities around the world, and they're great! Highly recommended.
